Making a satisfying cup of coffee is an art. At Hausbrandt USA, we strive to provide the highest quality coffee available to retailers and wholesalers while developing the Hausbrandt lifestyle. Hausbrandt coffee uses only the choicest ingredients, scouring the world for the best beans. All Hausbrandt products are made in Italy.
Coffee plants grow in tropical zones that have a temperate climate, with humid and volcanic soil that is rich in humus, limestone, phosphates and nitrogen. Climatic variations plus different growing and processing techniques determine the various types of coffee beans that produce a variety of flavors and degrees of quality. For this reason, Hausbrandt deals with the most significant coffee producers that include Brazil, Colombia, Kenya, Central American Republics, Mexico and Jamaica.
Once in Italy, the best batches undergo further scrutiny; even a single unripe, woody or fermented bean can compromise the taste of ten cups. Hausbrandt’s exclusive quality control system uses equipment that analyzes each bean up to thirty times and eliminates any unsuitable beans or impurities. Beans that pass the test then proceed to the roasting phase.
Roasting, which can take from 12 to 20 minutes, has four phases:
Hausbrandt’s highly trained personnel achieves superior quality coffee by protecting it from humidity, oxygen and heat that could damage its quality. Hausbrandt’s vacuum packaging and quality ingredients increases product longevity.
In order to create a high quality product, Hausbrandt's experts select producers of excellent coffees in Central and South America. Once in Italy, every bean is controlled and selected by the most up-to-date technologies. Then the blending phase produces an original, balanced blend unique in taste. This complex process is controlled by a specialized staff, which enables us to obtain a perfect taste, a fragrant aroma, a well-rounded flavor and a long-lasting quality.
